Privacy

firstthousandusers.com is free to read. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no email list, so the site never asks for your name, email or anything else about you.

Analytics

We use PostHog to see which guides people read and which links they follow, so we know what to improve. Until you accept the cookie prompt, PostHog runs without cookies and keeps nothing in your browser between visits. If you accept, it stores an anonymous identifier in a cookie and local storage so repeat visits count once. We do not run ads, and we do not sell or share analytics data.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. You can change it any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Third-party images and links

The footer shows badges from directories that list this site. Those images load from the directories' own servers, which can see that a request was made. Links to other sites are covered by their own privacy policies.
